Our Action Station range from Super Tramp offers multiple play opportunities for children from age two to twelve years old, bring fresh and age-appropriate challenges and keeping children engaged as their needs change through a full decade of growth and development.

These unique Action Stations provide endless opportunities for climbing, hiding, sliding, monkey swinging, imagining and just plain hanging out! As well as being great fun for kids, these activities underpin the development of a diverse set of skills including co-ordination, spatial perception, risk calculation, problem solving, observation, self-confidence, concentration and creativity - all crucial to the development of a growing child.

Whats different?

Designed and engineered to be the ultimate play system, the Action Stations range is build using a combination of aluminium extrusion and reinforced injection moulded clamps. These have been created specifically for the range to provide strength, durability and ease of assembly.

The architectural grade aluminium tubing is die-extruded to our own specifications; unlike steel tubing it will never rust and its low weight makes delivery and assembly considerably easier.

Key features

• with traditional steel climbing frames rusting and decay will eventually occur - but not with the Action Stations.


• all structural fixings use exactly the same type of "hex head" bolt and nut combination, helping to avoid any confusion during assembly.


• the clamps are designed to hold the nut in place, removing the need for a spanner when fitting tubes into clamps


• to avoid fingertraps or potential snagging of clothing, the nuts and bolts are enclosed within the clamp mouldings, leaving a smooth and safe surface.


• each Action Station is supplied with highly detailed, fully illustrated assembly instructions with easy-to-follow pictures.


• the Action Station range is fully compliant with the latest Toy Safety Standard EN71 Part 8.


• the range has been entirely designed and engineered in the UK by Super Tramp

The range

Optima Action Station
The Optima is designed to provide excellent play value for the younger child. The underden (included as standard) is a fun play tunnel with its soft free-draining platform and removeable fabric canopy: thanks to its low level it's a safe play area for the youngest child. The higher free-draining platform is covered by an up-and-over fabric canopy and is accessed by either an extra wide ladder or the strong and flexible webbing climbing grid. The reward at the top is a ride down on the speedy wave slide. Specifically designed to fit into the smaller garden, it can easily be lifted and positioned by two people once the slide is removed.

Ultima Action Station
The Ultima is designed for older children with its impressive height and large range of activities. The two separate soft platforms are split level and allow children to "zone" activities: the tall tower with canopy not only has a ladder for access and descent and a long 3m wave slide but also features a soft climbing grid and timber climbing wall, whilst the lower level has a pair of wall panels which create a fantastic viewing platform and a challenging 'firemans pole' for a quick descent. Because the lower platform is separate from the ladder and slide, it creates a natural space which children are able to use an an area for less active play. The optional Underden and Trio accessories further enhance this impressive kids play centre.
