I always think Hamlyn books are excellent quality and value for money, and this is no exception. There are only actually 3 recipes for the cakes themselves, but let's face it that's enough, and the rest of the book is dedicated to detailed instructions for various decorations. They are all organised by theme e.g. kids, celebration, and are easy to follow. I bought this as a present for my mum, but I think I'll have to get another one for myself... Absolutely brilliant value for money.

if you're ever stuck for inspiration when baking cakes with children,this is the book for you.It has very easy decorating ideas plus lots of recipes that make cooking fun & yummy.I LOVE this book,as does my 3 yr old-great value for money!
